Hi sweet_sue, nice to meet you. I am totally blind and have a softbone disease called osteogenesis, but I've already gone in to it so many times, I won't go further in to it right now. I'm 45 years old, my interests are old time radio, of which I'm building a huge collection on cds. I like to listen to cassette books, mostly mystery thrillers, horror. Some of my favorite authors include, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Victoria Holt, Phyllis a Whitney, Taylor Caldwell, Madelein Brent, Mary Higgins Clark, and that's all I can think of right now. Nice to meet you, take care and have a nice evening,

Heya Sweet Sue! I know you from Graffiti too, I was Metal Girl. I actually was Metal Girl for awhile on the zone too, but now Melodica has stuck, hehe. Great to see you've found this place. I saw Immigrant on here too, but she's never been online much. Wonder how many other former Graffiti users will get computers and find this place?

Which gruffeedi are you talking about, not the one on the zone, right?

Post 13 by DHS Darcy (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 24-Nov-2004 21:52:00

I was also on graffiti back in the day. I went by Darcy which is my real name. I tend to not use Darcy in a text chat situation because many people think of it as a girl's name, and so I used to constantly get hit on by guys. Oh and just for clarification, there's another Darcy who I think uses the name Frodo sometimes. I'm not him. Finally, Caitlin, they're referring to a phone system called graffiti that was around a few years back. It was very similar to the graffiti here on the zone, but over the phone.

How nifty! Wish I'd been on it! So what happened to it?

Hi Sweet_Sue. We've already chatted in quick notes, but I wanted to welcome you to the site. As you know, I used to go on graffiti as well. Talk soon.

Hi, I'm halodove and I used to be on evoice and grafiti and probably spelled it wrong. I've not visited the boards much. However, some of you seem familiar to me from grafiti. Is anyone on the Filmore System? I've not joined.

I don't think sweet_sue is here anymore. I haven't seen her on here in a while, don't think cg is here anymmore either. Sad, I missed chating on quicknotes with sweet sue, but oh well, it's usually the best ones who leave first.

Post 19 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 10-Feb-2005 0:42:53

No pun intended by the way that was an accident. But we'd been private messaging and she seems real nice.

Post 20 by wonderwoman (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 10-Feb-2005 20:25:37

yes, I enjoyed our quick note conversations very much. I think we talked for about an hour once. I haven't seen her since I turned all quicknotes off, but if I'd seen her on, I would've turned them back on and sent her a note first, I would've had to, since I'm not sure if there's a way to know if someone has them on or off. It would've been nice to have a feature that said, this user has quicknotes off.

Post 21 by kool_turk (This site is so "educational") on Thursday, 10-Feb-2005 20:30:51

Yes, that would be a nice feature.

Post 22 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 12-Feb-2005 16:18:04

WW, if your quickntoes are off no one can quicknote you. But I'm sure she would have liked for you to tell her that, so that was nice of you. And yep it would be a cool feature.

Post 23 by wonderwoman (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 12-Feb-2005 20:44:25

Hi Caitlin, yes, it would be nice if you could set it up to receive or not to receive quicknotes from certain users. I posted a message explaining why I turned them all off, I just got a little annoyed with people not talking, after they themselves quicknoted me, so since you can't choose who to receive quicknotes from, the best and only thing for me to do was turn them all off.

Post 24 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 12-Feb-2005 20:49:42

Yes I agree, though I enjoy quicknoting myself, I can see why you'd want to have options to receive quicknotes from a certain person or persons
